Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★☆ 4.3
Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure game about wandering a foggy little village and slowly figuring out what happened there. There's no combat, no timers, just puzzles woven into the environment and a lot of gentle atmosphere.
The hand-drawn art is the star. Every screen looks like a page from a storybook, and the soundtrack sits just under the surface without getting in the way. Puzzles are logical rather than obscure, though a couple near the end had me poking at the screen a bit too long.
It's short — I finished it in an evening — but it's the kind of short that stays with you. If you want something calm to play before bed, it fits the bill perfectly.
